I grew up the “chubby kid” on the field—but I could move. By college, I’d earned five varsity letters and competed around the globe in rugby, MMA, powerlifting, and bodybuilding. Winning wasn’t about glory—it was survival. My parents split when I was young, and chaos taught me to trust my intuition, read the energy in any room, and protect myself before I even knew why

That instinct, that inuition guided me through two decades as a personal trainer and corrective‑exercise specialist. Clients often marveled at my gift for “feeling” exactly what the body needed. Yet while I guided others, I was quietly unraveling—nagging injuries tracing down a single fascial line, a persistent fight‑or‑flight nervous system, and a hamstring rupture at age 33 that left me unable to train the way I’d always done.

Everything I tried failed, I didn't know what I didn't know—until I remembered the one tool that allowed me to slow down and listen: my breath, the gateway to understanding. My first Wim Hof session in New Zealand changed everything. One round of conscious breathing and I felt my skin tingle, colors dance, and sensations I’d long forgotten flood back. Was it a high? No—it was my body recalibrating itself.

Over the next months, breath became my guide. Each inhale spoke to my fascia, each exhale realigned my core. I relearned movement not by forcing muscles, but by feeling—willing my pinky toe to twitch after eight months of patience, then building from there, listening as my body whispered what it needed. I unlearned rigid cues like “stand tall, shoulders back” and “never let knees pass toes.” I discovered that muscles aren’t rubber bands—they’re part of a reactive network that pulses with every breath. When breath, fascia, and nervous system speak the same language, movement becomes automatic, pain dissolves, and posture holds itself. Now I teach principles, not exercises: how to harness your diaphragm to reset internal pressure, free your fascial slings, and calm your nervous system through breath.

 I’m a husband and proud father of two amazing kids—being a dad has shown me the greatest gift I never knew I needed. I love nature and adventure: leading breathwork atop Remarkable Mountains, plunging into glacial pools, and training with steel clubs, macebells, and kettlebells because our bodies are meant for more than repetition.
